Back in 2018, we were mostly doing private or peripatetic teaching.
We were teaching a lot of hours, and were seriously burned out.
The only way to make more money, was to work more hours. We were trading time-for-money, feeling under appreciated and uninspired by the environments that we were working in, and we felt trapped.
We felt a huge desire to teach ethically and passionately, but were always feeling that there were barriers.
Either funding issues with the music services we worked with, or we were slogging away so hard that there was no time left at the end of the day to focus on what I really wanted – to create an inspiring, exciting teaching business, that supported our family in living an amazing life, and allowed us to work the hours that we chose.
Music Monsters was our solution – a solution that we are now sharing with music teachers all across the UK.
In the years since building Music Monsters, we have generated more revenue than we ever dreamed was possible – and we currently only actually teach for 9 hours per week, in term time only!
We have adapted our model to inspire other music teachers, and show them how they can do the same.
Our programme of learning has been fully written by us, and is totally unique. It is child-led. It makes children love music. This is our motto, our goal, our ethos, the thing that drives us forward with Music Monsters – music education that is accessible to all.
After years of working as a music teacher in schools and the private sector, I felt the need to start something exciting, something new. Something that would make music accessible to everyone and also fun! When I met Lauren, I immediately knew that Music Monsters was the opportunity I was looking for.
The support I received from Lauren and Luke throughout my introduction on how to build my business was great. All the manuals, materials and training helped me tremendously to understand the business and be well prepared for my launch. As a result, I managed to launch my first 4 full classes in January!

It is very important that Music Monsters is associated with exceptional teaching standards. Therefore, all of our franchisees are expected to have music qualifications and teaching experience. You will need to be comfortable working with young children, and have excellent communication skills.
Music Monsters HQ will provide lots of training in how to run your business, so don’t be put off if you do not have a lot of business experience. Hard-working, passionate individuals are very welcome!

Your Music Monsters’ franchise is your own music teaching
business. It is an investment made by you, enabling you to build your
own successful company. You get to experience the joy felt from choosing
your own path, while benefitting from all of the support that comes from
operating within a supportive network of like-minded musicians and
teachers.
Everything that you need to launch your business will be included in your package! You will receive all of the instruments, games, equipment, books and manuals that you need. You will also receive lots of fab marketing materials, to help to get you established in your area.

You can build our syllabus into your own teaching, hugely boosting the number of children you can reach, and thus increasing your profits. Once little ones have completed your Music Monsters’ programme, you can graduate them into your current school.
You absolutely can run your own business! We will provide you with a tried-and-tested blueprint, your own how-to guide to running your own business. We want excellent teachers, but it is also important that the business runs well otherwise it has no longevity. This is why we are fully committed to supporting you on your journey! This includes:
