Hello! I’m Helen and I’m so excited about joining the team and bringing the Music Monsters amazing piano learning programme to you.

Having started playing the piano at the age of 4 and passing my grade 8 at the age of 13, I went on to study in Birmingham at the University and Conservatoire and gained my Bachelor of Education in Music with Qualified Teacher Status. I have been a Head of Music at schools in and around Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield and Sandwell ever since (that’s 20 years!)

I also continue to perform professionally as a keyboard player, having played with many leading artists over the years.

I live in Sutton Coldfield and I’m hoping to inspire children in the area, Four Oaks, Little Aston, Streetly and Aldridge (where I grew up).

You are warmly invited to attend our FREE launch party, on 6th April at Holy Trinity Catholic Church! Your child will have the opportunity to take part in a fun and inspiring group piano class, followed by some treats on us. You will have the chance to learn all about Music Monsters, explore lots of our materials, and join our regular lessons if you think we are a good fit for you and your child!

Due to our limited availability, you will please be required to pay a refundable deposit of £12.50 per child. This is to secure your place, and will be refunded when you attend on the day. Please choose the most suitable time for you below – we can’t wait to meet you!

Beginner Music Monsters' Classes

Our available Music Monsters’ classes are listed below. We start new beginner classes every half-term, so that all students are placed within a same-level class.

We work with small groups of children and their grown-ups, ensuring that everyone gets all of the attention that they deserve.

Lessons cost £12.50 per 30 minute lesson. Your first lesson is payable on booking. Following this, lessons are paid using a recurring monthly fee of £44.00 per month, plus an initial £13.00 charge for a book. We can’t wait to welcome you!
