Terms and Conditions - Classes

Our classes are suitable for children aged 4-7 years, and are intended as a joint activity between each child and their grown-up. Please do enjoy these sessions and support your child as they progress. They will get so much more from the programme if they have your attention and support through our games and activities. Music Monsters’ franchisees or class leaders do not assume liability for the health and safety of your child.

Music Monsters has full public liability insurance, and all class leaders have an enhanced DBS certificate.

My first class:

Piano Monsters is a learning-through-play programme, designed to teach and nurture a real love of playing the piano in our students. Please make sure you arrive a few minutes early for your first class, so that you can be shown where to go.

How do I pay?

You will be asked to pay via credit/debit card for your first half-term of classes. At the end of each stage, you will be sent an invoice for the next stage, payable on receipt.  All fees must be paid in advance, and we cannot guarantee your child’s space until fees have been paid. Fees can be paid by credit or debit card. There is an additional charge for your Music Monsters’ book and bag, but all other materials are included in your fee.

What if I cannot make a class?

Refunds are not available for missed classes. A booking may be cancelled by you within 7 days of booking the course. No refunds or credits can be given for any course cancelled after this date. In the event that a class is cancelled by us, fees will be carried over to next term or refunded. If a class has to be cancelled due to Coronavirus, an alternative session will be delivered online.

Photography

You will be asked for permission for us to take photos or videos of your child during the class. If granted, this gives the full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes to help achieve the group’s aims. This might include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in their printed and online publicity, social media, press releases and funding applications. We never produce photos or videos alongside a child’s name.

If you take photos/videos of your own child, please ensure that other children do not feature without permission from their parent.

Loss/Damages

Music Monsters cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage of personal items before, during or after our classes are delivered.

Who should we contact if we have any problems?

You will be provided with your teacher’s email address, if you need to contact them between lessons.
