Music Monsters’ is a family-run business, with a huge heart. We’re passionate about making Music Monsters the best music teaching franchise and our priority is to reach as many children as possible, to maintain exceptional teaching, and to show nurture and loyalty to our customers. After growing our own area, Solihull, we could have opened more branches across the country, employing branch managers and teachers across the UK. But this would have watered down our brand. We would not have been sure enough of the passion and commitment of our teachers and managers – they could leave at any time, without having any real loyalty to the customers they had worked with.

When franchisees join Music Monsters, they receive everything they need to get started. They receive all of their equipment, set-up and presented in a clear and concise way. They receive a syllabus, broken down into individual terms, and laid out class-by-class. They receive their manual, containing everything they need to set-up and run their new enterprise. They have 4 days of training, access to an online membership of business training for entrepreneurs, and a marketing pack with lots of materials to start shouting about their new business. We set up their web page, their email accounts, their social media, their booking software – everything is done for them, with full training provided on how to use it.
A fully comprehensive training package is put together for them, helping them to feel fully prepared as they launch their new business. On Day 1, they are invited to observe some real classes, see how they are run in person, and talk through their syllabus. Days 2 & 3 look at the business side of things – setting up their social media pages, learning how to book venues and market their business, and setting the goals that they would like to smash! On the final day, they have the opportunity to teach a class themselves – to take this exciting step and start delivering sessions!
Our support beyond this is ongoing. We have monthly zoom trainings for our network, regular calls and visits, and our very first conference booked for Summer 2023! Music Monsters is a living, breathing, creative enterprise. We are always developing, always improving, always innovating – and our franchisees are an essential part of this. We are committed to always improving, so that our franchisees can stay on top of industry trends, and keep excelling within their territories. Just some examples of changes or developments we have made, to help further our franchisees, are:
- The introduction of monthly recurring payments for students
- Music Monsters’ t-shirts, bags, and other merchandise to generate other streams of marketing and revenue
- The new development of our 8-11s programme, using our signature learn-through-play style to reach older students
- The use of scheduling software (provided by SmarterQueue) on our social media accounts, providing franchisees with regular auto-scheduled posts, so that they can concentrate on marketing and teaching - without getting stuck on social media every day
- Introducing a manager for their Google and Facebook ad accounts, to ensure that an expert is targeting the right people for their classes
